The research covers fiscal, political and administrative aspects of decentralisation, and also local organisations such as PRIs, NGOs and CBOs. The main objective of the Centre is to provide research inputs to functionaries of decentralised government, government officials, NGOs and donors for policy formulation, implementation and policy renewal.<\/p><p>The goal of the Centre is to establish itself as a centre of excellence in `Decentralisation and Development\u2019 through research, advocacy and capacity building.
